Judith Aston

Judith Aston has more than twenty years experience of working across industry and academia in the field of interactive/immersive media. She has developed and advised on cutting edge projects with organisations such as Apple Computing, the BBC, the Bristol Old Vic Theatre and Ffilm Cymru Wales. She teaches in the Filmmaking department at UWE, is a co-founder/director of i-Docs, and co-editor of

i-docs: the evolving practices of interactive documentary. She holds a first degree and masters in Geography from the University of Cambridge, and a PhD in Ethnographic Film and Interaction Design from the Royal College of Art. She is currently co-directing a collaborative research project on the poetics and politics of polyphony, and developing an immersive film project about the relationship between humans, animals and robots.
