Alex Yagilowich

Originally from the suburbs of New York, Alex Yagilowich is an interior designer and educator turned interactive architect and maker. Her designs center on bringing novel interactive spaces to broader audiences by providing tangible and recognizable concepts that can be easily understood or learnt.

As a Pervasive Media Studio resident, Alex is currently investigating Neurodiverse multi-modal HCI through practice-based research. Her interactive installation, Not Just an Excuse, combines learning and fun to explore the inner workings of the ADHD brain, as told by fellow ADHDer’s.

Some of her recent works have been exhibited at Loco Klub (UK), Bristol Museum & Art Gallery (UK), Ugly Duck (UK), the Samsung Experience Store at Kings Cross (UK) and the Alternative Gallery (US).
