Becca Rose Glowacki is an artist, researcher, and educator. She makes playful work that explores the materiality of digital media through craft. She combines textile techniques, paper crafts, and smart materials to explore how age-old knowledge in the hands can inform the way we think about new technologies. Becca also carries out research into learning and technology. Her work draws from critical pedagogy, and through exploring ways of teaching and learning with new media she attempts to question and challenge how we interact with technology. Becca is a senior lecturer in Creative Media Design at UWE, a member of the DCRC, and resident at the Pervasive Media Studio.
