George Lovesmith

George Lovesmith is an architect, artist and educator with a practice focused on social engagement, sharing belonging, and regenerative design principles. He designed Undershed, (AHRC Creative Clusters funded through Bristol & Bath Creative R+D) and has expertise in designing spaces to host immersive art forms. Undershed is a gallery conceived both to foster togetherness and to be wildly regenerative. 

George is a Senior Lecturer at UWE.

Other projects include the Filwood Broadway Delivery Plan co-producing a high street in transition (BCC / Levelling Up-funded policy), Watershed Wild & Generous, My Library My Space & Maindee Library+. He has partnered with schools and community organisations around the UK; and internationally at the Taiwan Design Expo and as an Arts Council International Fellow in Spain.
