Milena is a PhD researcher interested in gender, sexuality and culture. Her current research focuses on issues of power and sexual consent in erotic fanfiction as a form of cultural activism. She also works with creative practitioners in the cultural industries to improve the representation of consent (sexual and otherwise) in popular culture.
