Will Hunter is a creative producer and PhD student working with the Fair Creative Economies work package of MyWorld. Prior to starting his PhD, he worked in the cultural sector producing projects, exhibitions and event programmes that aimed to increase and diversify public participation in STEM research. His research aims to interrogate the emergence of ‘Civic University’ models and the relationships that form between artists, the creative industries, and universities. Particularly he wants to focus on ways that universities can shape and support the creative economy beyond financial growth.
